Join our re-launched Trinity Youth Theatre Company and experience workshops, rehearsals and performance in Tunbridge Wells’ premier theatrical venue. This unique series of weekly youth theatre workshops will encourage confidence, teach theatre skills and provide great fun along the way! It’s a chance to be creative, a chance to perform and when you’re not performing on the Trinity Theatre Main Stage you’ll have a chance to join us for free and watch shows! At Trinity Theatre you’ll learn a variety of acting skills with enthusiastic and highly-skilled theatre professionals.

Changelings: (8-11 year olds) 4.30pm – 5.45pm - £120 per child, per term (*)£100 sibling rate (*)
Rude Mechanicals: (12-15 year olds) 6.30pm – 7.45pm - £150 per child, per term (*)£125 sibling rate (*)
Athenians: (16-19 year olds) 8pm – 9.15pm - £150 per child, per term (*)£125 sibling rate (*)

    Tonight we expressed our acting in a fun and efficient way. I led a show called "Pizza Pizza Pizza" which we devised ourselves.

    Played some warm up games to introduce everyone. We used objects to use Stage Plastics to improve improv skills. We then split into groups where we used objects to create little plays.

    Played warm up games. Introduced and learned names. Used objects and made then created a Pizza advert. GOOD!

    Used props to indicate different objects and exercised it in mini plays.

    We acted out a play called the Golden dragon and I was a Lion and it was really good and then we played lots of balls games to get to know each others name. Also we did a game meeting other people.

    Played lots of games and learnt alot. I loved all of it and would love to come again. I loved the bit where we had to make a small play.

    We did expressions… emotions and feelings. Without talking!
    Cinema moods and picture frames (led to) posed tableaux and it was really fun!

    Expressed ourselves speaking and not speaking. And I love all of it. I was a mermaid, a train and lots of other things. Thank you for giving up your time to teach us and to show us how to act.

    Well to be honest I LOVED IT! But I think my mermaid was a bit weak! But, I made some new friends. Maddie and Zoe, they are really nice! I will come back next week and I will come more prepared.

    Acted out a play about a mysterious creature. I loved putting it on. The park bench thing was really creative. I learnt a lot: like to use our bodies. It was great and I am glad I joined.
